Webinar Series: Simulating Crack Propagation Part 2 (November 2, 2023)

This webinar is the first in a two part series on Simulating Crack Propagation, Part 2, conducted on November 2, 2023. DRD dives into a few application examples where fracture mechanics is employed for crack evaluation. This includes static fracture of an airframe bulkhead beam where the crack arrests, fatigue fracture of the same airframe bulkhead beam, and fatigue fracture of a spline gear carrier. DRD will discuss input of relevant fracture material parameters and review output from Ansys crack growth simulations.
